Wabash is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead high-impact projects and drive operational efficiency. This role will leverage advanced engineering principles, project management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver strategic outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leverage advanced engineering principles and project management expertise to optimize operational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing large-scale process improvement initiatives
- Develop and deploy plans to ensure timely availability and effective utilization of labor, facilities, equipment, & tooling resources
- Work with scheduling and demand planning teams to create optimized production plans and provide capacity planning analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field of study (Preferred: Industrial Engineering)
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with CAD, PowerBI, SQL, Data Analytic as well as excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to apply strong principles and analytical techniques to continuously improve the manufacturing process
