We are seeking a qualified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care to individuals in recovery. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, facilitate group meetings and workshops, and provide one-on-one support. You will also collaborate with healthcare providers, counselors, and community organizations to ensure clients have access to the resources they need for long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized recovery plans for clients.
• Facilitate group meetings and workshops promoting recovery and wellness.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and other staff to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain records and document client progress.
• Participate in regular training and education sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be in active recovery for a minimum of 2 years.
• Lived experience with substance use disorder and recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of recovery resources, services, and support systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in peer support or recovery services.
• Experience facilitating groups or workshops.
