Job Summary:
The Electronics Product Manager drives our international engineering resources in China through the Electronics product development process, aligning technology development with timely delivery of high quality commercially innovative products that meet and exceed customer expectations. The individual in this role identifies, recommends and implements efficiencies in product development workflows in compliance with business need.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international engineering resources. Deliver clear, responsive, constructive feedback, identify opportunities and recommend solutions. Ensure engineering changes are implemented quickly, driving innovation and strategic development through efficiency.
- Drive delivery of all power supply technology development lifecycle phases to include concept/ideation, design and development, testing/validation, pre-launch preparation, launch, and post launch support.
- Coordinate cross functionally between internal departments, including and not limited to Sales, Marketing and the Executive Team. Ensure project goals are aligned and delivery timelines are met according to business need.
- Create product specifications and instruction sheets, ensuring product specifications align with requirements and compliance standards. Specify electrical power hardware as required to meet safety and code requirements.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor research and analysis to inform opportunities and recommend new technology accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- 10 years professional experience in Power Electronics engineering, with a proven track record of developing innovative and complex consumer electronics products.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, design and evaluate circuit design, LED drivers, power electronics, IoT integration, embedded systems and power supply systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and coordinate across teams from ideation to launch.
- Proficiency in Engineering & Design software (PADS, Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Circuit Simulation).
- Understanding of firmware and software programming with the ability to write software code.
- Familiarity with firmware programming, C, Python, and mobile application design is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- High level interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members and leadership up and down the organization.
- Prior experience coordinating cross functionally with international teams in China is a plus.
- Ability and willingness for international business travel to China as required.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus.
The expected salary is $140,000 - $170,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.
