What will your job look like?
We are looking for highly technical HVAC Maintenance Technicians with residential experience that can promptly and effectively troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain air conditioning and heating units.
- Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems – air handling units, ductwork, vents, condensation drainage.
- Maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan.
- Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
What do you need?
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with preventative maintenance of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc.
- Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have EPA Universal or EPA Type II certification.
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
- Waccamaw Heating and Cooling may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.
