Summary: The Facilities Clerk supports the Firm by performing general maintenance and repairs on office premises, furniture and equipment. This role assists with office moves, setting up conference rooms, assembling and installing furniture and responding to service calls. This role requires experience in carpentry, plumbing, locksmithing, and HVAC systems. Shift: Wednesday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the maintenance and professional appearance of the office premises. Perform various maintenance and facility tasks, including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, patching and painting, changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and responding to facility requests, ensuring timely completion. Monitor temperature throughout premises, troubleshoot HVAC problems, and if needed, notify HVAC vendor for repair. Assist with office moves, furniture breakdown, installation, reconfigurations, and relocations. Perform conference room setups for meetings and events (chairs, flip charts, easels, screens, etc.). Serve as a point of contact for external vendors. Maintain communications with the Director of Facilities, the Office Services team, and building management. Conduct thorough inspections of the premises and report potential hazards or major incidents to the Director of Facilities. Work occasionally requires more than 35 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Perform other tasks as directed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Experienced in carpentry, plumbing, locksmithing, and HVAC a must. Perform repairs in both front office and back-of-house environments, including furniture, and related equipment. Ability to climb ladders, lift and move heavy objects as needed. Possess a strong understanding of HVAC operations and Building Maintenance Systems (BMS). Excellent interpersonal skills. Education and Experience: High School Diploma Five to ten years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a corporate office environment. Working Conditions: Normal office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. The base salary offer is based on a variety of factors which includes, but is not limited to, qualifications, education and experience.
