To strengthen our team in Charleston,
we are looking for you as a(n) Technical Operator - CSR.
The Technical Operator - CSR will be reponsible for de- and re-assembleing lines as directed by operations as well as unloading big bags containing silicon metal using fork lifts, hoist and designed unloading equipment, to introduce material into storage silos. He/She will also be responsible for the operation and daily upkeep of silicon grinding equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- De- and re-assemble BDPC lines
- Operation of Powered Industrial Equipment to support BDPC assembly/reassembly tasks, movement/processing/unloading of “lumpy” or bagged silicon metal (forklifts, pallet jacks, front end loader)
Transportation of BDPC using hoists, carts, forklifts to and from the cleaning department from BDPC process area
Operation/Routine Upkeep of Silicon Metal Grinding Equipment
Navigate big bags & bulk drums of silicon metal using forklifts and hoist into unloading equipment
Operation of big bag unloading equipment to introduce silicon metal into operational storage silos
Follow all site safety, environmental, quality, operational procedures/policies. Ensure safe efficient operation of all equipment. Continuous housekeeping to ensure safe/clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven technical and mechanical aptitude
- Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position
- Effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders
