Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Technician, your primary responsibility is to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure they operate efficiently and comply with safety codes and regulations. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing fire alarm equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs or upgrades. Additionally, you will work with clients to educate them about system functionality, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure that all systems are in proper working order for the safety of buildings and occupants. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety are essential in this role.
Qualifications
- A few years of hands-on experience and knowledge in fire alarm systems is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage job sites effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
