Position Description:
Wade Trim is seeking Summer Intern pursuing a bachelor’s degree in urban planning or a related field to join our Community Design Team to improve infrastructure in our Detroit or Tampa offices. College junior or senior status is preferred for all internship positions, and a valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.
\n- Assist with data research and analysis for a variety of planning and zoning studies, including master plans, consolidated plans, zoning ordinances, and recreation plans
- Conduct project specific research through field-work, interviews, literature review, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of narratives, tables, and exhibits in support of planning studies
- Assist in the development of GIS-based maps and data
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning or related field
- Valid Driver’s License
