The Wadena Housing & Redevelopment Authority is seeking a qualified part-time temporary to hire permanent Office Support Specialist person. This position is to provide technical support to staff while providing professional courteous service to clients and public. Strong computer skills, ability to multi task, communicate effectively, attention to detail, accuracy, and work as part of a team. A high school diploma and equivalent related office experience preferred.
Starting Wage is $16.40 to $17.50 per hour dependent on experience.

Essential Functions of the Position
Greet public, screen telephone calls, and direct clients to the most appropriate staff for addressing their needs or inquiries.
Provide clerical functions to Wadena HRA staff.
Collect payments, make bank deposits, enter receipts in housing software system.
Complete simple bookkeeping tasks.
Process applications and verification including faxing, mailing, and emailing documents.
Revise, create, and update forms, correspondence, and other materials as needed.
Maintain resource materials as directed by program managers.
Monitor and maintain social media and website accounts.
Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
Conduct Housing Program Briefings
Conduct Housing Quality Standards/ NSPIRE Inspections.
Administer Regulations, Policies, Procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

Communicate effectively verbally, and in written correspondence.
The individual must possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry, and have understanding of the internet and e-mail and considerable knowledge of computer operations.
Willingness to learn, and participate in training, educational opportunities and accept increasing responsibilities.
Must have a valid Minnesota Drivers license.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
