About Project / Team : (if any)
We are a dynamic team of SREs dedicated to maintaining and improving our infrastructure. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled PostgreSQL DBA who can help us build and deploy images, configure, and set up databases, and write infrastructure code to enhance our capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases.
- Build and deploy database images using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Perform database configuration, setup, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Collaborate with SREs to ensure database reliability, availability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and security strategies.
- Provide support for database-related incidents and requests.

Compensation / Salary Range : The typical pay for this role across the U.S. is : $70,000- $100,000 per year. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
