What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Associate position at Wagging Tails Pet Resort Az?
We are looking for a kennel technician who can help make our guest feels at home and get the best care while they are staying with us. We have many guests in everyday, some for grooming, some for daycare, and some for boarding... our kennel techs will interact with all of these guests.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all of our pet guests have safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience while they are with us.
- Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Understand that cleaning is a BIG part of the job in order to maintain a healthy and safe environment for our guests.
- Be able to pay attention to details and keep detailed notes to report to team members and communicate well with pet parents.
- Be a team player.
- Be comfortable with handling all dogs and other animals even under stressful situations.
- Basic understanding of dog behavior and desire and willingness to learn more.
- Must be available Saturdays.
Shifts vary during business hours of 6am and 630pm.
Canidates should have experience with dogs and feel confident in handling all types of dogs regardless of breed, size, energy level.

Experience Required

Pay: $14.70 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 32 per week
