Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Tacoma Clinic Team. The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for providing internal care for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physician(s).

Responsibilities
- Provides guidance, screening and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practice
- Perform comprehensive health assessment including obtaining a complete and accurate health history; performing a complete and accurate physical examination
- Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
- Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and examination results; triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation
- Develops and implements health promotion, illness/injury prevention and therapeutic plans congruent with the client’s diagnosis, health care problem or need
Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Nursing
- Current Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)
- Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPA
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification

Physical Activities and Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required to other local locations on an as-needed basis to back-fill for vacations, etc.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the day, up to 10 hours per day
- Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
- Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 15 pounds)
