We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join ourWagman Construction, Inc team. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while managing client relationships and maintaining high-quality standards. The PM is the primary contact for the client and internal teams, confirming the overall success of the project lifecycle. The PM is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, in compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in construction.

As a full-service general contractor, Wagman Construction facilitates growth and development in senior living, healthcare, higher education, urban, institutional, and industrial markets in central Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, time management, and team leadership.
- Strong presentation skills, and ability to engage small and large groups.
- Expert in blueprint/plan reading and interpreting construction documents.
- Ability to adapt, make decisions, problem solve, and maintain project momentum.
- Highly accountable with excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Working knowledge of construction management, CPM schedule, & cost management software is required (Procore, Primavera P6, & ViewPoint preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Essential Functions:
- Develop project plans, sequences, and schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Establish the project objectives and policies, monitor financial activities, and ensure that construction operations align with project documents and high-quality standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Control job material and labor expenses. Prepare financial reports, including budget updates, forecasts, and payment applications. Ensure timely invoicing and payments in compliance with project contracts and agreements.
- Lead project team meetings, coordinate field activities, and confirm efficient collaboration between the project superintendent, preconstruction/estimating team, and other internal staff.
- Develop and implement site logistics plans, ensuring effective construction operations. Plan for existing facility projects and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee the distribution of project documents, including RFIs, shop drawings, and addendums. Monitor quality control and quality assurance compliance and perform regular inspections.
- Assist in preconstruction/estimating efforts by providing construction schedules, site logistics plans, and supporting presentations when needed.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Enforce OSHA regulations and ensure compliance with safety standards at the job site.
Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions:
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 7 hours).
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. occasionally
- Able to frequently bend, squat, kneel, and climb (i.e., ladders) throughout the workday.
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
- Ability to travel to project sites and work at heights above 6 feet as necessary.
- Must have acceptable corrected vision and hearing.
