Position: CDL Driver
Travel: between the White Haven, PA and Sugarloaf, PA job sites
We are currently seeking an experienced CDL Driver to join our Heavy Civil Team in White Haven, PA. Reporting to direct field supervision, the Driver is responsible for truck inspections, loading and unloading a equipment and materials, driving and operating a lowboy/ flatbed on the construction site. The Driver is to load, haul and unload construction equipment including but not limited to excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other equipment or structures. Other tasks may include but not limited to laborer duties and operating equipment including but not limited to excavators and dozers, carrying materials and heavy objects, stacking materials, cleaning of job site. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction tasks and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications:
- 1 year experience driving a tractor trailer; experience in Heavy Highway construction preferred
- CDL A with Tanker Endorsement required
- Experience operating construction equipment safely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating a lowboy tractor trailer or flatbed on site in a safe manner
- Loading, unloading construction equipment onto and from lowboy or flatbed
- Moving material and/or structures from location to location on the job site
- Driving on rough terrain in a safe manner
- Performing routine maintenance to equipment on a daily basis and reporting any mechanical problems immediately to the supervisor
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level and assist with loading and/or unloading
- Must be able to be bounced around when driving on very rough terrain. Must be willing to help in other construction related tasks when not driving.
- Must be able to climb into cab of truck and climb down from the truck cab
- Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to perform essential tasks including maintenance and inspection of equipment
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands to move levers/controls to operate the truck and dump attachment
- Required to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
- Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.
