Position: Water Truck Driver/ Skilled Laborer
We are currently seeking a Water Truck Driver/ Skilled Laborer to join our Williamsburg, VA team. Reporting to direct field supervision, the Water Truck Driver/ Skilled Laborer is responsible for truck inspections, operating water trucks, and performing skilled laborer work. Other tasks may include but are not limited to carrying materials and heavy objects, stacking materials, and cleaning of job site. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction tasks and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications:
- CDL B with Tanker Endorsement
- Heavy Highway Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying, loading, unloading, and stacking materials
- Operating /driving CDL trucks such as water trucks on rough terrain in a safe manner
- Moving material including soil and rock from location to location on the job site
- Performing routine maintenance to equipment daily and reporting any mechanical problems immediately to the supervisor
- Shovel, rake, spread and vibrate concrete into place.
- Climb embankments and ladders to carry material to various work sites on project as needed.
- Assist team members with necessary task to complete the scope of work for each site
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and assist with loading and/or unloading
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to be bounced around when driving on very rough terrain. Must be willing to help in other construction related tasks when not driving.
- Must be able to climb into cab of truck and climb down from the truck cab
- Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to perform essential tasks including maintenance and inspection of equipment
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands to move levers/controls to operate the truck and dump attachment
- Required to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
- Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot, and humid weather.
