Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical systems, including underground and overhead installations.
- Perform excavation and operate mechanical tools, ensuring their proper care.
- Handle materials and install them according to project specifications.
- Practice safe work procedures as outlined in the company policy manual.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service.
- Supervise assigned job site employees and ensure project timelines are met.
- Operate company vehicles and mechanical lifts under supervision.
- Read and interpret maps, blueprints, and instruction manuals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of field experience with a current Kentucky State License or reciprocal license from another state.
- GED or High School diploma.
- Proficient in using the National Electrical Code for installations.
- Experience with various raceway installations and strapping methods.
- Knowledge of wire installation, terminations, receptacles, and switch installation.
- Ability to work on energized circuits and perform high voltage terminations under supervision.
- Current driver's license and ability to work out of town.
- First Aid/CPR and ARC Flash certified, TB tested.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and specs, and competent with computer use for information and instructions.
