Position Summary : The Commercial Customer Service role is crucial in our organization by providing empathetic and effective communication to clients, ensuring the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role is essential for driving the company's success through customer retention and sales, reflecting the organization's core values.
The base pay for this position is $45,000 with the ability to earn referral and cross-selling bonuses.
Essential Functions :
1. COI Processing (70%) Process COIs and provide necessary documentation to the requestor within 4 work hours

2. Commercial Lines Support (30%)
Enter claims, NOC, and alert actions following completion of requirements with documentation scanned and noted in Agency Management System (AMS).Assist in the renewal process, including gathering required documents and uploading them into the AMSReview completed business paperwork for compliance with guidelinesOrder and track loss run requestsProvide Account Manager backup as requiredDocument coverage discussions, quotes, declinations, client changes, and coverage changes in AMSPromptly and accurately interact with clients and team to prevent error and omission claimsIdentify insurance needs, gaps in coverage, loss exposure, and cross-selling opportunities alert AMS to recommend appropriate coveragesRequest referrals from customers and associates and respond to the referrals in a timely mannerComplete additional tasks and projects assignedAttend daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetingsInteractions :
Agency Manager : Weekly 1 : 1 meetings, daily check-ins, strategic discussions.Prospects : Properly transfer calls, update AMS as needed, ask thorough questions.Producers : Answer questions and provide information as neededAccount Manager : Support the Account Manager and manage delegated work, and answer questions. Advise AM of client issues.Clients : Establish positive relationship, ask for referrals, answer questions, and address issues promptly.Decision Making :
Knowing when to escalate client or coverage issues to teh Account ManagerIdentify Gaps in Coverage and notify the Account Manager.Job Specifications / Qualifications :
Education and Training :
High School DiplomaTexas Property and Casualty License (required)Experience :
1 or more years of customer service experience in commercial insurance1 or more years of Certificate of Insurance experienceApplied EPIC experience preferredSkills & Abilities :
