Award-winning Wagner Logistics, a Top 50 Third Party Logistics company providing supply chain services including distribution center management, warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, product assembly, and packaging, is seeking Lead Powder Loader Driver onsite at our customer's production facility at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. This weekend shift position works Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Power loader driver is responsible for accurately storing, delivering, and receiving products to meet Wagner Logistics' standards of safety, security, and productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Shipping/Receiving
Load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
Storing
Move products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
Order Picking
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Equipment
Operate the material handling equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently as required. Perform pre-operating and post-operating safety checks per requirements. Report any defects to the Supervisor so repairs can be performed.
Checking
Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation. Follow Facility Safety protocol for reporting damage or infestation.
Delivery
Drive Van or Box Truck to and from the Bunkers and the Plant receiving areas. Follow all safety and traffic regulations.
Safety, Sanitation, Security
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Be vigilant and report any suspicious visitors or activity on the premises. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Miscellaneous
Participate in physical inventories. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed. Repair pallets when necessary. Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Citizenship - Must be a United States Citizen
Criminal Background and Pre-Employment Drug Test - A clean criminal history and passing drug test are mandatory
Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Experience - Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting; knowledge of warehousing and logistics terms and processes is a plus. Experience driving a Box Truck or Delivery Van preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Proficient in basic math applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and good keyboard and PC skills preferred
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must have good people skills and work effectively in a team environment
- Must have a valid Driver's License with Class E endorsement
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods and repetitively
- Exposure to varying temperatures: heat, cold, wet, damp, drafty
- Work on concrete and unlevel surfaces
- May be required to climb ladders and stairs
- Work around hazardous materials and may be exposed to carcinogens, toxic, and explosive materials.
- Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
- Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights
- Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 100 pounds
