What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate III - Shift B Days (0630-1900) position at Wagner Logistics?
- Freight Handling: Efficiently load and unload freight with precision and safety.
- Product Storage: Properly stack products in designated storage areas using the required equipment.
- Inventory Management: Rotate products according to customer requirements and maintain inventory integrity; assist in and lead physical inventories as needed.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including roll clamp attachments.
- Quality Control: Identify and immediately report damaged, lost, or missing products to warehouse leadership.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment; place unsafe equipment in designated areas and notify leadership for repairs.
- Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure work area; adhere to safe working practices in compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Interact professionally with warehouse management, personnel, customers, vendors, and guests.
- Documentation: Complete required records, reports, and daily paperwork.
- Additional Duties: Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking projects as needed; handle other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding basic English.
- Basic math, counting, and computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Initiative, reliability, and teamwork capabilities.
- Experience using RF scan guns, tablets, and warehouse management systems preferred.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
- Use hands and fingers to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds of heavy objects.
