JOB TITLE: WMS & INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - Portland Oregon
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Vice President, Information Technology
Supervises: Information Technology Personnel
JOB SUMMARY: The IT WMS & Infrastructure manager will be primarily responsible for the Warehouse Management Systems(WMS) and infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing specific IT operations in addition to managing a group of IT personnel responsible for the WMS and infrastructure support. They will possess excellent leadership, communication skills as well as project prioritization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to support the company's objectives.
* Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems by working with our Managed Services Provider(MSP) along with internal resources.
* Oversee cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and prevent data breaches.
* Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
* Coordinate IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT management and cybersecurity.
* Assemble project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying necessary resources, and outlining a timeframe including deadlines for completion. Responsible for testing, documentation, training and quality assurance of each project .
* Responsible for project milestones, updates, project plan coordination and communication of results.
* Ensures that software and procedural methodologies are followed to support company operations
QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education (preferred level): Bachelor's Degree Information Technology or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
B. Experience (the minimum level of direct experience in a similar position.): 4 or more years experience effectively managing an information technology department in a small/medium size firm. Along with experience managing/supporting WMS systems and some infrastructure support (i.e Switches, Access Points, RF devices). Experience with Synapse WMS will be a significant plus for this position.
C. Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
* Extensive technical knowledge of application development methodologies, integrations, data analytics, infrastructure and/or cybersecurity
* Must be able to define standards and strategic direction to ensure department is able to meet mission and organizational goals
* Strong leadership and motivation skills with the ability to challenge and develop staff to ensure effective deployment of resources and personnel retention.
* Effective Project/Program management (small to large projects)
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
