We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining various systems within our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Utilize logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery.
- Conduct inspections and tests using tools such as an Ohmmeter to assess the condition of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist with residential painting tasks as required to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance duties.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
- Experience using an Ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Leadership skills to manage small teams during maintenance projects.
- Previous experience in residential painting is a plus.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining equipment.
