WAGO is seeking an individual to build panel assemblies according to required specification. Qualifications:
High School diploma or higher education is required with a minimum 5 years manufacturing experience, preferably in industrial panel building. This position requires the individual to decipher wiring drawings and schematics, follow work instructions, and have excellent oral communications skills. The ability to lift fifty pounds is also essential.
Position Description:
Solutions Assembly position is responsible for a wide range of activities including assembly, wiring, programming, testing, and packaging of panels. This position will utilize strong verbal communication skills to collaborate with other departments such as engineering and quality as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in the building, wiring, soldering, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of custom electronic panels, components, equipment, and systems on most or all varieties of products.
Assist in ensuring the department builds custom modular builds and that modular assemblies meet the required specifications and quality assurance goals.
Track levels of manufacturing supplies, such as wire, hardware, chemicals, labels, bags etc. and reporting low levels to the team lead.
Assist with training new and temp employees on procedures and work practices.
Responsible for keeping the production area clean and safe.
Comply with WAGO Corporation’s and OSHA safety policies.
Coordinate with production team to identify unique tools and materials needed to perform required tasks.
Perform panel and enclosure modifications using power and hand tools as necessary.
Collaborate with engineering or others to identify, define, or anticipate and solve developing problems.
