The Wagoner County Detention Facility is expanding its medical department to enhance the quality of care for our inmates. We are committed to being proactive, setting high standards, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Shift:
Shift:
- Day shift: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (alternating Wednesdays as a swing day).

Off Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (alternating Wednesdays).
(Schedules are consistent but may change occasionally.).

What You’ll Do:
- Work under the guidance of the jail physician and medical supervisor.
- Deliver independent, guideline-based care to treat various conditions. Collaborate with detention staff to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
(Note: Nurses are never left alone with inmates – safety is always a priority.)
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Oklahoma LPN license.
