We are seeking a motivated and experienced in outside/outbound sales Business Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing business within your assigned territory, building and nurturing relationships with business partners, and driving growth through effective sales strategies and excellent customer service.

Need -to Haves
Business Development:
- Proactively develop and manage business within your assigned territory.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with independent shops to drive growth and fend off competition.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve success and development within your territory.
- Conduct cold calls to potential customers to introduce our products/services.
Customer Training & Support:
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and sales processes.
- Evaluate and qualify customers for program installations and system integrations.
Reporting & Communication:
- Report to the Business Development Director and actively participate in team meetings, sharing updates on achievements and challenges.
- Keep detailed and current individual customer reports, mileage reports, and personal expense reports.
- Communicate regularly with management, warehouse and delivery teams, and customers to ensure high levels of service and product satisfaction.
Problem-Solving & Strategy:
- Identify potential threats to your territory’s performance and develop strategies to address issues such as sales decline, customer conflicts, and competitive pressures.
Personal Development:
- Use Wagonmaster’s CRM and sales education tools for ongoing personal and business development.
- Exhibit a high level of energy and initiative, with a competitive yet collaborative approach.
Pre-Requisites:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development or a similar B2B sales role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a strong aptitude for learning new business software.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales education tools.
Communication and Knowledge
- Excellent English fluency, both written and verbal.
- Must reside in the Edmonton area.
Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with the automotive industry.
