This position will lead the implementation and ongoing management of a new payroll system, ensure accurate and timely payroll process, compliance with regulations, and efficient operations while also managing payroll staff and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Payroll Processing & Compliance:
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Ensure the integrity of the perfect attendance policy by properly tracking absences and paying out perfect attendance points.
- Administer hourly vacation tracking and payout.
- Lead the implementation of a new payroll system, including data migration, system configuration, and user training.
- Manage and maintain the payroll system, ensuring its integrity and functionality.
- Identify and recommend system upgrades and enhancements.
- Supervise and train payroll staff.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and industry best practices.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
- Certification in Payroll Administration
- Three to five years of hands on payroll administration experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office software
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and detail-oriented
- Good interpersonal skills and team player willing to help find solutions to business problems
- Incumbent must be sensitive to the highly confidential nature of payroll administration
- Ensure numerous deadlines are met on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
