Position Title : Sales Manager
Location : Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
Reports to : VP of Sales
Direct Reports : Up to 10 Account Executives, subject to change.
Position Summary : The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue performance by fostering a results-based environment while maintaining a culture of accountability and development. They will utilize data dashboards to identify issues and opportunities, coach sales reps to address skill gaps, and ensure accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management. By guiding the team in utilizing the MEDDICC framework and engaging in deals at multiple levels, they will drive consistent pipeline generation and accelerated market-share acquisition. The Sales Manager will also support the growth of the reseller channel, run effective weekly 1 : 1 and team meetings, and report forecasts and results to the VP of Sales, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drive revenue performance : Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Foster a results-based environment : Promote a high-performance culture with clear goals and accountability.
- Utilize data dashboards : Track KPIs, identify challenges, and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accountability : Set expectations and ensure follow-through on goals and commitments.
- Identify and address skill gaps : Ensure team members receive the training they need through Wahsega’s training program.
- Coach and develop reps : Offer feedback, mentorship, and development plans to maximize potential.
- Engage in deals at multiple levels : Support sales reps throughout the deal cycle, ensuring alignment with MEDDICC.
- Provide accurate forecasts : Deliver reliable team sales projections to the VP of Sales.
- Run effective meetings : Lead weekly 1 : 1s and team meetings to strategize and remove roadblocks.
- Accelerate market share growth : Drive consistent and accelerated market share growth in all of the sales rep assigned geographical territories.
- Drive pipeline generation : Ensure consistent prospecting efforts to fuel future growth.
- Develop reseller channels : Develop the sales team to strengthen the reseller channel to drive aggressive growth.
- Report to VP of Sales : Provide updates on forecasts, results, and strategic initiatives.
