What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist - Mammography position at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center?
Provide patients with excellent patient care while obtaining quality, diagnostic mammographic images. Greet patients, obtain, and verify patient history and information to aid interpreting Radiologists in proper diagnoses. Observe and practice patient confidentiality at all times.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma required
2. Satisfactory completion of a 2 year Radiologic Technology training course or equivalent, in an AMA approved school required
3. Technologist must be ARRT certified in Radiology and Mammography required
4. Licensed by the state of Hawaii as a Radiographer required
5. Must provide documentation of initial experience as defined in MQSA requirements required
6. Must have documentation of performing 200 mammogram exams within a two year period required
7. Must provide certificate of completion of the 8 hours of DBT specific training as defined by the MQSA requirements.
8. Maintain current CPR Health Care Provider certification required
