Front Desk Supervisor – Waikiki Beachside Hostel
Are you a dependable leader with a passion for customer service? We’re looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team and help lead our front desk operations. In this role, you’ll be supporting both the front and back end, ensuring smooth operations, and overseeing the team. You’ll also help manage schedules, cover shifts, and keep everything running efficiently for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Front Desk Team: Oversee daily operations, manage check-ins/check-outs, and ensure high-quality guest service.
- Schedule Management: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure we’re fully staffed and shifts are covered. Step in to cover shifts when needed.
- Assist with Back-End Operations: Help with some back-end tasks, such as emails and managing reservations.
- Customer Service: Ensure a positive experience for all guests. Address any issues or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Staff Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to new staff members. Ensure your team is performing at their best.
- Problem Solving: Handle any guest or staff-related concerns that arise, ensuring quick resolution and a smooth experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality management is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to create and manage work schedules, as well as cover shifts when needed.
- Familiarity with Cloudbeds property management system is a plus (but we’ll train the right person).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
