Wait Industries is a dynamic and growing aluminum and steel fabrication business, already generating nearly 8 figures in revenue looking to expand its cargo trailer parts and accessories side of the business doing already $1.5M in sales!
We are passionate about delivering top-quality products and services to our customers, and we’re looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial leader to take our trailer division to the next level today, but with the intention that one can run sales for the entire organization.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Head of Sales to lead and expand the trailer division. This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our business. As the face of our cargo trailer division, you’ll start as a hands-on hustler, hitting the pavement to connect with small business owners and build relationships. Over time, you’ll scale the division, but have the opportunity to take the reins for the entire organization, growing a high-performing sales machine.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Knock on doors, cold call, and network to generate leads and close sales with small business owners in the cargo trailer space. (We will provide you with leads: companies and contacts!)
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow revenue.
Leadership:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to scale the division.
- Recruit, train, and manage a sales team as the division grows.
- Serve as the face of the trailer division and company, representing the brand with professionalism and passion.
Operations & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to set sales targets and ensure they’re met or exceeded.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience selling in B2B sales, preferably physical products
- Minimum of 3 years experience selling to SMBs with proven track record
- Consistently beat quota QoQ and YoY
- Experience in cold calling, face-to-face sales, or other high-energy sales roles.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
