The Sales & Revenue Operations Manager position offers the opportunity to work across multiple sales functions including process management, forecasting, CRM administration, and strategic planning. Our ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing sales processes, managing pipeline projections, and supporting the sales team with essential tools and insights to drive success. Additionally, this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless sales execution and customer delight. Company Description

We are a leading provider of wireless, mesh-networked, "Internet of Things" (IoT) sensors for industrial environments. Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower plants of all sizes to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime. (I.e. We help with things like getting your Prime packages to you faster!)

Reports to: Director of Business Development & Revenue Operations

Location: Must live in Cincinnati metro area (or be willing to relocate)

Office Location: Queens Gate area of Cincinnati, OH

Onsite Requirements: Onsite; remote flexibility as needed

Travel: Occasional: Occasional travel required

Job Description

This position will give you the opportunity to work across many sales competencies:

Sales Process Management

  • Design, implement, and optimize sales processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the sales team meets goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain sales documentation, playbooks, and training materials.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting

  • Manage sales forecasting processes, including pipeline management and sales projections.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales performance reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

CRM and Sales Tools Management

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of the CRM systems (NetSuite Sales and HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM system.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on the effective use of sales tools.

Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategies and plans.
  • Support the annual sales planning process, including setting targets and quotas.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of incentive programs to motivate the sales team.
  • Hands on in customer facing meetings including legacy sales accounts and CSM accounts.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to align on lead generation and sales enablement activities.
  • Partner with finance to manage sales budgets, forecasts, and commission structures.
  • Coordinate with product teams to ensure sales has the latest product information and training.
  • Work alongside the operations/installation team to ensure timely delivery and implementation of Waites systems post-sale.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to improve sales strategies for existing customers.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role.
  • Strong background in sales analytics, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales reporting tools and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on delivering a customer-delight experience in every interaction.
