What You'll Be Doing Wake County Health and Human Series is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator- Evaluation to work with the Work With Wake program, a five year grant awarded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve Public Health Infrastructure. This position will be responsible for developing the evaluation framework as well as doing the data collection and analysis for this award. In addition, this position will document lessons learned and share best practices among community partners, including university partners; work with community health and partnership teams to ground-truth results produced throughout this award; and develop innovative strategies for expanding evaluation programs to support community change in support of health equity. Wake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) is the consolidation of programs and services that includes social services, public health, job search assistance, child support, and transportation. Required

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of job-related experience
  • Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience including experience working in or with communities of color or other underserved communities, working to support complex developmental evaluation structures, and experience working with partner organizations
  • Experience working on awards funded by USG
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Hiring Range: 23.57 - 30.28

Market Range: 23.57 - 37.00

Emergency Service Worker Statement

In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
