Supports and optimizes system workflows across departments by configuring, testing, and implementing software solutions. Works closely with customers to enhance system functionality and ensure satisfaction. Assists in project coordination, troubleshooting, and technology upgrades while collaborating with IT teams to maintain a patient-centered approach.
Education & Experience:- Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience/certification
- Experience: Three years of relevant system configuration or programming experience
- Preferred: Healthcare IT experience
- Epic certification or relevant system training within six months of hire
- Manages small-scale projects, gathers user needs, and sets expectations.
- Analyzes workflows and configures applications to support business processes.
- Documents requirements for new and existing system functions.
- Performs intermediate programming and scripting as needed.
- Prioritizes system updates, software changes, and user requests.
- Extracts and migrates data between systems using SQL and reporting tools.
- Tests and validates system configurations in test environments.
- Serves as a liaison between end users and software vendors.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues.
- Works with vendors to tailor software to organizational needs.
- Provides project updates and ensures timely task completion.
- Follows IT change, incident, and problem management processes.
- Applies project management principles and tracks work time.
- Assists trainers when needed.
- Provides on-call technical support as required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, MS Office, and security concepts
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience applying system updates, upgrades, and migrations
- Logical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Fast-paced with frequent interruptions
- Occasional long or irregular hours
