POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- No Prior ECMO Experience Required! On the job training!!
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus, provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements

- Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC
- Shift Schedule: Full Time Nights

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides quality Respiratory Care according to departmental policy for the following patient groups: Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric. Performs approved procedures and monitoring of equipment to promote a positive outcome. The Advanced Level Practitioner educates the patient, medical house staff and other allied health professionals to assure continuity of care. Assists with clinical instruction and skill building of Respiratory Care student practitioners. Evaluates and implements procedures based on appropriate utilization of current trends in cardio-respiratory technology and Extra Corporeal Life Support.
MUST HAVE:
- RRT Required
- Minimum 2 years Critical Care Experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed to practice as an RCP in the state of North Carolina
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AND Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Maintain ECMO Specialist endorsement on NC Board of Respiratory Care (licensing board)
- Certification for specific area of practice
- Certification by WFBH as an Extra Corporeal Life Support Specialist
NICE TO HAVE:
- Prior experience with ECMO not required and training will be provided.
- Previous CVICU experience preferred
