Education & Experience:- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: 2 years in food service
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of food service, cleaning, and safety standards
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and cash handling
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Food Prep: Assists in preparing cold foods, baking, and grill duties
- Tray Assembly: Prepares trays based on meal tickets
- Transport: Moves food between storage, kitchen, and service areas
- Sanitation: Cleans kitchen, dishes, and equipment
- Delivery: Brings meals to patient rooms and retrieves trays
- Order Entry: Logs patient diet and snack requests in system
- Cash Handling: Operates a register and balances receipts
- Customer Service: Addresses concerns or escalates issues as needed
- Professionalism: Maintains teamwork and follows policies
- Follows safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Participates in required training and competency tests
- Adheres to HIPAA and compliance policies
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
