JOB SUMMARY : Provides non-clinical support in the daily operation of the department. Assists with planning, implementing, and follow up of courses, programs, meetings and other work activities. Maintains data systems related to quality and performance improvement, and develops associated reports.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Program development/planning and experience in a hospital setting preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists with course/program development, implementation and oversight.
- Assists clients by providing information and/or resources.
- Collects, reviews, and compiles data, statistics and materials relevant to quality and performance improvement reports and projects.
- Prepares and edits written materials to ensure a quality output.
- Performs financial duties for department.
