What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Study Interviewer, Gerontology position at Wake Forest Baptist Health?
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, interviews and records responses of study/survey participants over the telephone or in person as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience in a Call Center, Help Desk or interviewing study participants preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Contacts potential study participants over the telephone.
- Conducts scripted survey by asking study eligibility questions and recording answers on paper.
- Schedules clinic visits and makes reminder phone calls.
- Records accurately and consistently the interview into the computer study management system.
- Completes progress reports as required by project manager.
- Coordinates the recruitment information sessions and attend the weekly sessions to check people in and schedule their next visit.
- Performs various other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
