Optometric Technician

Wake Forest Eye Care Center is currently seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to join our team in Wake Forest, NC 27587. This position will require in-person work and offers benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k).

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform pre-testing procedures for eye exams
• Assist with contact lens fittings and prescription dispensing
• Conduct visual field testing, oct and autorefraction
• Utilize optical knowledge to assist patients with lensometry
• Handle scheduling appointments and maintaining electronic medical records
• Assist in our optical department and other areas of the practice where needed
