As a Family Medicine Physician, you will make a meaningful impact on patients across all age groups in a thriving outpatient clinic environment. The Wake Forest Health Network is a physician-led, non-faculty multispecialty group practice affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no inpatient responsibilities and limited shared on-call coverage.
- Patient Population: Diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, in a supportive outpatient setting.
- Team Support: Collaborative work environment with an experienced team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
What You'll Do
As a physician, you will diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses by performing physical exams, taking medical histories, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending a plan of treatment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in primary care or related field from said residency.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
