What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Faculty Physician Traumaplasty High Point position at Wake Forest?
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner joining an established trauma and arthroplasty team primarily in High Point.
- Location: Patient care in a busy trauma and arthroplasty practice in High Point, North Carolina with potential additional locations to be mutually determined
- Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate is able to treat conditions related to orthopaedic trauma and arthroplasty
- Collaboration: 4 trauma faculty and 6 arthroplasty faculty partners in Department with over 90 total faculty in Department
- Teaching Opportunities: Orthopaedic resident and fellow (trauma and arthroplasty) teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunities required
- Call Expectations: Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call at a level three trauma center.
- Support: APP and clinical support provided

Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in trauma and arthroplasty or single fellowship candidates with a high level of comfort in both trauma and arthroplasty
- License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
