Education & Experience:- Required: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Preferred: Experience as a clinical dietitian
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- Active NC Board of Dietetics/Nutrition licensure required
- Conducts nutrition assessments and physical evaluations.
- Participates in clinical rounds to enhance patient care.
- Applies evidence-based practices in nutritional planning.
- Supports hospital goals by improving patient outcomes.
- Educates healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers on nutrition.
- Ensures age-appropriate care across patient populations.
- Provides specialized nutrition care for transplant patients (if applicable).
- Completes timely outpatient documentation and billing (if applicable).
- Works to reduce patient no-shows and enhance clinic efficiency.
- Follows hospital policies and promotes a collaborative work environment.
- Maintains strong communication and teamwork skills.
