Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs and provides results of medical laboratory analyses of body fluids and tissue used by physicians for disease diagnosis of patients and determination and/or evaluation of treatments for illness. Prepares blood component/products for infusion to patients.

- Shift Schedule: Full time; Days, Monday - Friday w/occasional weekends

Education/Experience/Certifications to Qualify:
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) Medical Technologist program, five years' clinical lab experience, or two years' clinical lab experience with Medical Lab Tech (MLT) certification.
- Previous experience as Medical Technologist preferred.
- Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP certification required.
How You’ll Impact Patient Care:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Performs and provides accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
- Prepares and issues blood components for patient transfusions.
- Assists in the collection and transport of patient samples from the clinics to laboratory sections.
- Handles hazardous materials in accordance with regulations to ensure safe working environment.
- Requisitions and maintains inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment as needed for laboratory operations.
- Supervises, trains, and reviews the work of students and lower-level technicians engaged in clinical laboratory work.
- Operates complex specialized laboratory instruments; instructs other personnel in the use and operations of these instruments.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Salary : $1,350 - $5,250
