Position Details:
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7a-7p
- Location: Davie Medical Center in Advance, NC
What You'll Do:
Effectively and efficiently performs age appropriate MRI examinations while under the direct supervision of a staff MRI technologist and in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures. Provides assistance with patient care, room turnover, paperwork, supplies, equipment cleaning and errands while communicating pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
What You'll Need:
- Current enrollment in an AMA or CMA accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Current BLS Provider Certification
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Job Responsibilities to include:
- Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures. Participates in departmental in-service and educational offerings. Contributes to the overall quality of services.
- Performs or assists in performing quality MRI examinations in a timely and efficient manner while under the supervision and/or direction of an ARRT registered MRI Technologist, ensuring consistent workflow and high level of productivity.
- Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records which contribute to the efficiency of department operations. Coordinates with other departments as needed.
- Assists with room preparation and restocking of rooms and other departmental storage areas with supplies necessary for patient care and procedures.
- Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and quality of services provided.
- Ensures age/developmentally appropriate care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served to ensure patient’s needs are met.
