The Wake Forest Health Network Pulmonology – Catawba practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonologist to join our thriving community-based practice in Hickory, North Carolina. Our practice manages a broad range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and sleep disorders, with access to advanced diagnostics and multidisciplinary support. Highlights:
- 100% outpatient care role
- Full-time providers work 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours
- Office hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- 4.5-day workweek with one afternoon for administrative work
- Affiliation with Frye & Catawba hospitals
- Call rotation with Internal Medicine: one night per week and every 7th weekend
- Strong community relationships and excellent administrative support
Physician Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
- Board Certification in Pulmonology from said residency.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required
