Order Management Application Specialist

As an Order Management Application Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, designing, configuring, testing, documenting, and delivering critical operational functions for grocery and wholesale distribution centers. You will act as the first line of response for system issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the Ordering system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Design, configure, test, document, and deliver essential operational functions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for system issues and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement solutions and enhancements.
  • Understand and manage relevant supply chain processes.
  • Maintain and optimize order management systems.
  • Work closely with operations teams to align on continuous improvements to system functionality.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain procurement and/or ordering systems.
  • Deep understanding of DB2 SQL and relational databases.
  • Proficient in utilizing and executing JCL, Flat-Files, CopyLibs, and performing database updates, including both hierarchical (SUPRA) and modern database models.
  • Some working knowledge of Cobol is required
  • Ability to reverse engineer complex queries and processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Knowledge of inventory, warehousing, and supply chain domains.
  • Experience with maintaining and supporting warehouse management systems.
