What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pasteurization Technician - Milk Bank position at WakeMed Health & Hospitals?
Overview: Responsible for functions necessary to assist the milk bank in providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective donor human milk services. Utilizes requisite equipment, aseptic technique, donor milk processing supplies and computer systems as appropriate for the procurement, receipt, preparation/milk processing and/or dispensation of donor human milk. Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the milk bank, equipment and supplies. Assists in training new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures. Department Description:
