WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Internal Medicine to join our group in Raleigh, NC. The Hospitalist Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and / or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed. Our hospitalist positions offer a great opportunity for work life balance with flexible shift-based schedules. Physician candidates must be currently Board Certified or Board Eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board.
