What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Administrator position at WakeMed Health & Hospitals?
Overview: The Practice Administrator (PA) is responsible for the administration of new and existing practice locations within WakeMed Physician Practices (WPP) has direct reporting line to a Service Line Executive Director (SLED) and dyad reporting structure to the Director of Optimization/Integration. These individual assists, facilitates, coordinates, and directs practice operations, practice managers, provides data for analysis of business growth and works on special projects as directed. They promote innovative and best practice operations to maximize the performance of multiple locations. This position collaborates with WPP/WakeMed (WM) leadership in the organization to ensure constant and consistent improvements are happening in the health and well-being of our patients through standardized practices, systems, policies/procedures and assists in the implementation of the strategic plan. This individual understands the need to achieve overall WPP goals and objectives through the use of research, national benchmarking, and performance improvement. They understand the needs of WakeMed and support the mission, vision, values, and management of the organization. Department Description:
