What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Bar Server position at Wakonda Club?
Snack Bar Service Team
Provide exceptional yet efficient poolside service to the members of the Wakonda Club in accordance with Wakonda Club policies, procedures, and standards. To promote complete member and guest satisfaction by using all tools of their personality, service knowledge, and Wakonda Club offerings.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Display a consistent positive attitude with the membership and all staff. Assists other staff associates, members, and guests on the phone and in person.
- Adhere to a timeline and level of service to ensure you are providing effective and efficient service that is consistent to the Wakonda Club service standards.
- Basic Service Guidelines – All service will be conducted in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner. All food and beverage items will be presented using proper service etiquette at all times.
- Have a basic understanding of the beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
- Have a working knowledge of the current menu items to help answer any questions members and their guests might have.
- Able to communicate with all levels of management and work well with a team to provide the common goal of member satisfaction.
- Follow proper food handling when delivering items, making shakes, completing sidework, etc.
- Proper charging of items and billing according to Wakonda Clubs accounting policies and procedures as they relate to food and beverage.
- Consistently cleaning countertops, beverage and food pick up area, and poolside tables.
General Support Tasks
- Assist team members in Terrace Grill or Events to ensure member and their guests are having the best experience possible.
Reports to:
- Clubhouse Manager, Assistant Clubhouse Managers, Pool Manager
Coordinates with:
- Kitchen Management Staff, Director of Events, General Manager, and Golf Shop Leadership, Director of Aquatics
