What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Customer Service position at Waktins Glen Harbor Hotel?
Calling all Night Owls! We are looking for someone to join us 4 nights per week as part of our Overnight Guest Service Team!
Dependability is key. Schedule would run either from 9PM-5AM or 11PM-7AM depending on business demands.

Located in the village of Watkins Glen, our hotel offers the perfect vantage point from which to explore wine trails, craft breweries, distilleries, historic attractions, watersports, outdoor adventure, and more!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.
1. Audit, balance, post and report on the room charges including phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections and adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures to ensure accuracy, food and beverage charges and ensure proper cash handing procedures are followed.
2. Run audit reports, journals from the front office system, point of service.
3. Make corrections and adjustments as needed; handle all computer problems that may occur on shift.
4. Run an audit of current day sales and close out days work end of shift count.
5. Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operations.
6. Balance in-house bank drawer.
7. Be aware of all safety procedures and policies in the event of an emergency.
8. Comply with attendance rules and be available for work on a regular basis.
9. As the manager on duty, walk the entire property daily and complete a nightly report.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
