We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused associate to join our team as a Cashier at Walmart.
About the Role
As a Cashier, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes scanning items accurately, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
- Stand for long periods of time while checking out customers quickly and accurately
- Keep your area clean and presentable
- Answer customer questions and help them with their needs
- Be available to assist associates across the store as needed
- Gather carts from the parking lot
- Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store
- Clean restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed
